Imagine my surprise when I checked my (snail) mail on Friday before leaving town and found a package addressed to me that included a wonderful “thank you” from Cool “Disco” Dan. Want one? Better yet, want to meet Cool “Disco” Dan? Well you can. Roger Gastman and Joseph Pattisall are bringing the Cool “Disco” Dan documentary back to the D.C. area one ‘mo ‘gin!!!!! Cool “Disco” Dan will also make an appearance to at least one screening per day. It’s happening this weekend, Oct 18 – 20, at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, MD. Screenings on Friday evening will be hosted by D.C.’s Ron Moten with other special guests making an appearance during brief Q&As after the screenings. There’s also an opportunity to purchase the DVD.
