About Mahoganie: Quick Minus the Dirty
You would think after several years of keeping a blog/online journal I would have introductions and premiere post down pact. Instead I’ve fallen prey to the likes of my girl, fictional character Juno, and kept things “quick and dirty” – well maybe not dirty - within the introductions of the last couple of journals/blogs I’ve been keeping.
So who am I? What exactly do I want from the blog-a-sphere? What do I have to talk about? My mission? Can I keep the answers to these as brief as possible?

Ok..ok..ok…
What do you want to know?
Nowadays I try to let my writing in my entries speak for itself. I will say for this particular virtual space I’m looking to do something a bit more than just babbling about my life. I’m trying something new with this space. That something new is; breaking away from too much of my personal matters that I’ve spewed in past blogs/online journals and focus more on my growth as a writer, a journalist and adding in a bit.. a smidgen of my personal growth. I also may throw in some conversation about my part of the city in southeast, DC – “East of the Anacostia River.”
You can also get another glimpse of who I am via my small bio on About Me.
My original intent was to set up a dot.com space… yanno.. my own domain. However, my purse isn’t ready for that just yet. Besides, I still need to work out specifics on if I want it to be my creative side or more so my professional resume and my bragging page of all my journalistic work.
There’s so much of my writing journey (as a creative writer and journalist) that I’ve learned and experienced that I just feel the need to share in hopes maybe someone else may need it.
Honestly, I don’t know what will come from my fingertips onto this virtual space.. I just hope it will be good, positive and even inspiring.

Mahoganie Jade Browne,
Today is my lucky day! I stumbled upon your Blog through something as simple as a Natalie Dee drawing of a frortune cookie. I’ve been searching for a real Blogger to add to my blog roll for sometime now. Don’t take the word “real” lightly either. There’s a lot of Bloggers out there Blogging just for the attention. What I need is substance and I think I found that in you.
Kudos!
